◆ Protecting American Agriculture from Foreign Adversaries Act（賛成269 反対149） 対米外国投資委員会（CFISU）を更新し、対米外国投資委員会（CFIUS）の委員に農務長官を加え、農業用地の取引についても審査対象に追加する。外国の敵対勢力による米農地の買い取りを取り締まる法案※15）。
◆ COUNTERING CCP DRONES ACT 中国DJI製のドローン使用を米国内で禁止する法案。同社の新型ドローンは米連邦通信委員会（FCC）の安全保障上の脅威リストに加わり、米国の通信インフラに接続できず、輸入も販売もできなくなる。ただし、すでに米国で運用されているドローンは引き続き利用できる※16）。

各法案に投じられた賛成票をみると、民主党から100票ほど入っている法案が一定数ある（共和党の現在の議席数は220議席なので、欠席者なしで220票）。
中国に甘いとみられがちな民主党だが、共和党と足並みをそろえる民主党議員は多い。総選挙前ということもあり、この法案を上院が可決するかはシューマー上院院内総務次第ではあるが上院での採決にさえかけられれば可決すると考えたほうがいいだろう。採決スケジュールの決定権をもつシューマー上院院内総務の優先順位次第ではあるが、次の会期（2025-2026年）には可決すると考えておいたほうがよさそうだ。
