米国内で物議を醸している中国発の人気アプリTikTokですが、モンタナ州で同アプリの利用を禁止する法案が成立しました。州内でTikTokの一般利用が禁止されるという事例は全米初です。

モンタナ州は、アプリストアがTikTokを提供することを違法とし、中国資本の人気アプリを禁止する最初の米国州となる。
法案施行後に、特定のアプリストアがモンタナ州民へのTikTikの提供を続けた場合、そのプラットフォームは罰金の対象となります。
